So the good first. This bed looks good. It assembles relatively easily (maybe 1.5-2hrs). But I guess most importantly it looks really nice.
The bad. the supports for the vertical base boards are not very sturdy making it rather difficult to move the assembled bed without potentially tearing some of the screws out of the cross beam. Our solution to that is to not lift the bed but slide it...Another negative is that not all the drawers close flush with the bed. of the 6 drawers 4 close flush. But that is not a big deal to me.
Aside from that one negative my fiance and I really like the bed. It looks sturdy and is very aesthetically pleasing. Weve had many compliments on the bed and people are shocked at how much (or how little) it cost
I love the bed frame, I can finally get my mattress up higher with storage underneath. It is the perfect bed height because I also do not like tall beds either. Unfortunately during the assembly process I manage to scrape some of the finish off, but I am not so worried about that. The drawers are ok, they take a little fiddling to get them on the track, and one drawer in particular does not seem to properly aligned. The instructions were much easier than expected. Reviewers from this brand and similar models have been complaining about the instructions, but I found them not complex at all. I am 120 lb female and not exactly handy. All you need is a phillips, flathead, and hammer. I took longer than the directions said it could be done in. I spent about 6 hours start to finish with food breaks and animal distractions, so I am confident that most people could assemble this by reading the directions. The parts are clearly defined and the pictures show you mutliple angles so that if you are unsure about how a piece goes, there are other angles to get a better understanding on how you need to fit them together.
The quality of it being simply made of compressed wood and not real wood (except for the matress support) is not that great. Besides the quality of the wood its pretty nice considering how much extra storage space you gain and you also wont need a box spring. Looks pretty nice as long as you are careful not to chip into the fake wood.
We bought this bed on for its price and because we wanted to have drawer bed and not a lot was available online or in the stores that we saw that could match this. The bed was delivered on schedule and the packaging was good too.

The bed is structured in a way such that no way it can efficiently bear the load of the mattress and the sleeping people. The entire bed rests its weight on 8-10 wooden strips (of extreme low quality) and 2 particle board planks that run across the strips (but below them).
If you have a carpet then PLEASE MAKE SURE that the bed is setup at the exact place where you want to place it finally, else while it becomes extremely tough to move and still maintain the alignment of the bed. The bed loses wooden frames lose its straight lines very very easily. They become S shaped very easily.
I would not recommend this bed to anyone unless you absolutely want a drawer bed....
This is an awesome bed dont get me wrong, it has plenty of drawer space,it is a very modern looking piece compared to what my husband and I had previously and it actually made our memory foam mattress much more comfortable to sleep on compared to the box-spring that came with the mattress. My only problem with the bed is that any moderate movement makes the bed shake which makes me feel like its going to crumble beneath me, but so far that has not happened and weve had it for about two weeks now.
Update: Still holding up nicely, not scared of it anymore, reason being it survived being moved and reassembled and still is a bit wobbly and after about a year of heavy traffic I dont think its going to crumble anytime soon. One of drawers suffered by my hand though it hit railing on its way to the moving truck and cracked, made me sad but its my own damn fault for not being careful, do wish they would make something a little sturdier in the materials used department.

However, we came across this item on which qualified for Prime shipping and decided to give it a shot. We are very glad that we did!
The bed arrived in three boxes very neatly organized and packaged with good care. The directions are very easy to understand and include helpful tips and photos. Personally, not exactly a handy, mechanically inclined individual--but perhaps even I could have handled most of the assembly on my own with a hammer, power screwdriver, and about two hours of patience.
The process went smooth and the finished product is actually better than I expected---the quality of the wood and particularly the drawers is really good for the price.
We got it to the house two days after it was ordered and had it together the day it arrived. For the money, the 6-drawer storage bed is an excellent value.
My wife and are I both very large people and I was a little dubious of the design at first. But it in fact holds up very well. I was able to assemble it with no extra help. The connectors are well designed so this could be dissembled if you moved. And it does offer quite a bit of under bed storage even though the drawers dont go all the way to the center like they would on a nicer bed.
This product was assembled by my boyfriend over the course of a couple of days. The first day, on which we received the package, we simply looked over the three boxes we received and tried to figure out what we would tackle first. On the second day, he decided to kick into action and assembled it over the course of three hours while I worked on other furniture I had purchased.
You need to have the room to put this item together. Simply move your existing mattress over to one side and it assembles easily. We put the frame together and then each of the 6 shelves was assembled later.
You get what you pay for. I have no doubt there are other items like it out there, similar but more pricey.
I kept both my mattress and boxspring on the new frame, making it something like 3 feet off the ground. It looks funny but I feel like the princess and the pea!
The bed came as ordered, but was short one part and another one broken. Called and the missing and broken part was promptly shipped. Putting the bed together was a snap and the finished product was fantastic. Would recommend this product to anyone needing a king platform bed with storage. J Camp, FL
Although I did not purchase this bed through , I did read a number of the reviews of this product here. After seeing many negative reviews, I was hesitant to make the purchase but decided I needed the storage and did not see many other comparable products that offered as much at the same price point. I am very glad I did make the purchase because this is a great bed!!!!
I was concerned with the many reviews of damaged and missing parts but my bed arrived in perfect condition with all pieces included and undamaged. The packaging was extremely sturdy and seemed like it could take a good amount of punishment.
I purchased this bed because we have more stuff than space and this provided a large amount of storage without increasing the space used by our old bed. The bed is solid and assembly was very easy with clear instructions. The majority of the work was related to building and installing the 12 drawers which was made much easier by using a small ratcheting screw driver and in retrospect would have been even easier if I had purchased a small battery powered screwdriver. The drawers themselves are well made and provide as much storage as a standard size dresser drawer.
All of the pieces fit together perfectly and with the exception the pre-drilled holes on the thin upper and lower side rails being slightly too small. That caused a minor headache because the large bolts that hold the bed together screw into the joiners you place in those holes causing them to be misaligned. In the process of trying to hammer the joiners into proper position, one went completely through the hole cracking the veneer but I was able to repair it with some adhesive and touch-up paint. You will need to use a good amount of force to tighten the large bolts that hold the bed together to ensure that the frame is solid. Using glue on the joints will make this even more sturdy but I did not do that in my assembly because the bed is in a small room and will need to be partially disassembled to remove it.
Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. It is a solidly constructed bed with a huge amount of storage.

Awesome storage, but a little scary..

Suprisingly sturdy!
