This was for my Real Estate office.. It fit really well and looks very classy, delivery came early . box was really beat up, but everything inside was in good shape.. We put the table together with 2 ppl in just a couple hours
This is a cheap dining set that is better than most! Feels like wood was used, so yay! But it was a soft wood, so... maybe get a table protector or glass if you dont want to have tiny scratches. It is sturdy, though the chairs will tip easily if your toddler stands on them and leans against the back (le sigh) but that is the toddlers problem, I guess - just something to be aware of as people who might have toddlers. The seats are comfortable, everyone fits, and this will be the table my children scar with learning to eat and homework. We are thrilled.
I really wanted to give this table and chair set a 5-star rating because its very cute, and its exactly what I wanted. Its fairly easy to put together if you already have some light experience with tools, however youll need some time, strength, and at least one other person to help put on the top of the table. There were a few small scratches in the stain on the legs of the chairs, that were thankfully easily fixed with a brown Sharpie (for the cherry color, at least). The table was in perfect condition and packaged well. However, the product itself has some serious issues when it comes to assembly and parts labeling and which parts were included.
The chair legs that were received were ALL mislabeled - all of the right legs were labeled L and the left legs were labeled R. I can only imagine how many confused customers have had to call customer service over this issue. Luckily, I was able to figure it out before I started putting screw holes in the wrong spaces.
Then, when I finally got to the last chair assembly, I only had 2 right (labeled L) legs left so I could not finish assembling it. After calling the customer service number, we explained the problem with the mislabeling and requested that they please send both an L and an R leg, just in case they were mislabeled again. But they were only willing to send out one leg, and guess what happened? They decided to send one labeled L, which of course was actually another right leg, so it was the wrong leg yet again. After receiving yet another wrong leg as a replacement, we had to call customer service again to tell them they need to send another leg - but this time please send the correct one!
This time we actually did receive the correct leg and Ive finally been able to complete the last chair after nearly a full month of headaches with this problem (received on June 26, called first time June 28, finally received correct replacement leg and finished assembly on July 23). If the company would have been willing to send out 2 replacement legs the first time - especially after being told about the mislabeling problem - I wouldnt have had to call them again. They ended up having to spend MORE money on shipping since they had to ship a replacement to me twice, instead of just shipping 2 of each leg the first time, as requested to try and avoid this predicted issue.
This is a pretty serious issue, which is why Im including all of this in my review. Hopefully the company will reassess their quality control with the labeling of legs and ensure that all of the correct parts are included in each package in the future. And hopefully the company will listen to its customers in the future when the customers tell them about the mislabeling and the concern over receiving yet another mislabeled - and thus wrong - leg.
Sturdy and easy to assemble. Pieces fit together only one way so no confusion. Assembly with screws, washers and bolts for a tight fit. Will cover the seats with upholstery fabric for a tailored look to fit my decor. All-in-all very happy with this purchase.
Well, I am completely happy with this table set! It was very easy to assemble, instructions are very clear, the sturdiness of the chairs blew me away! Very sturdy and comfortable cushions make it all the better. Was delivered with few scratches, which can be ignored, not the end of the world, its a beautiful set! Perfect for my area it was picked for. Perfectly priced, sturdy, easy to assemble and beautifully made. I give it a 5 , I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a Nice table.
I see there are some bad reviews for this table due to damage upon receiving the table. I had no issues with damage and will say that it is a great table. Sturdy and well worth the money.
