This product is 100% as described. For the cost, it is 5/5 for material, strength, aesthetics. If it were $500, Id rate it a 3 star. But it wasnt.
Instructions were a 4/5. It could have been a little more detailed to make it faster. Bonus that it is written humorously, but also a little annoying since it wasnt super clear. For one step the screws didnt go all the way in to be effective. But I dont care because its still very strong without that little piece.
Total build time at a leisure style was 1.25 hr. It could have been a half hour with two people. Its pretty simple.
Tips:
- at the end to install the doors it is helpful to have a second set of hands to hold the door. I didnt want to wait and managed it by myself.
- my doors had a 1/2 gap at the end. Which I was very unhappy about. After taking a break, I used the last page of instructions that give tips if the doors arent positioned nicely. They worked. Now my doors are perfect. So do use those tips for the doors.
- if you have any other issues, contact customer service. I purchased a table from a year ago. There was damage to one main piece. They took care of it quickly and professionally. And even sent a card in the mail to apologize for the inconvenience. I was impressed and appreciative for their commitment to customer service. So now when I shop for furniture, I look at their products first. I trust them to resolve issues, if any.
The cabinet is well made and very sturdy. It came with a bag of spare parts which we have never got with furniture from other places. I thought the doors had glass on the inside but they are open. This doesnt take away from the overall look.
Very impressed with the buffet. It took four hours for my husband to build. He is good at building things, so just letting people know it takes a while.
Its not very sturdy, especially the top panel. And the doors are a little off, another review mentioned this too, they posted a closeup photo of it. But for the price Im happy with it. Its cute and does the job.
This peice is absolutely beautiful and exactly what we needed. We will be using it as a liquor cabinet. We had a minor issue and reached out to the company and they were so attentive to our needs and provided great customer service. They even went the extra mile by sending us Godiva chocolates! I highly recommend this company and product. Its so nice to know that there are still good companies out there that care about their products and their customers. Did I mention that we are obsessed with this piece and it looks great in out dinning room. If your on the fence just go for it you wont regret it!
I had some issues with this item but Ive literally been wowed by the customer service and willingness to resolve it. I think there are some shipping kinks to work out. The item did have some scratches on it that likely happened prior to packaging it because packaging was meticulous. However, when I contacted customer support they were super helpful and seemed like they reallllly wanted to help me fix it and get a piece of furniture I liked. Overall, quality but I love the style of it and as I said A+ customer service. Because of this I wouldnt hesitate to purchase from this brand again in the future.
It was made in June 2021 so it set somewhere for 10 months ,it probably wasnt climate controlled so some of the wood was warped.Still turned out ok , left door rubs .No one take pride in anything , product shouldnt have being sold.
