Very nice headboard frame. We were able to assemble in about 1/2 an hour. Very concise instructions the kit included an Allen wrench plenty of spare screws. I thought the style might be too modern for my taste, but have found it to be more neutral classic than expected.
Looks very nice. Was super easy to put together / 30 minutes with the help of a 4 year old, 2 year old and 9 month old! I bought it becuae there are no sharp edges poking out in case the kids are sleeping or playing and fall off. Seems safe and great from that perspective. I wish it were actually a little closer to the ground.
Really good quality! Went from a queen to a king and ed by the quality. We got a new 12 mattress though and part of the headboard is swallowed by the headboard. If I knew I would have gotten a taller headboard.
Other than being heavy (which isnt much of a critique), I cannot think of anything I do not like about this bed! It took my husband and me about 40 mins to put together. One person can do it, but it would be more of a challenge. The packaging is brilliant / everything came in a bag/box zipped in the headboard. Only one tool needed (which is given). Super sturdy construction. The slats stay put via Velcro (fantastic). Its easy to put together, take down, and put together again (which we had to do because we loved it so much we decided to move it to a different room). Anyway, last night was the first night on it, and it was a blissful nights sleep.
Like most probably are, I was hesitant to click the buy button, but boy am I glad. This is a very well built bed, much much better than the one I got at my local City Furniture and for a quarter of the price.
It is a very heavy box! So keep this in mind when receiving it. However from a build standpoint it took me no more than 45 min to put this baby together.
We upgraded to a King and got a T&N mattress, its a perfect fit.
