Some parts arrived scratched and with paint coming off. Ive had better quality from Zinus at a lower price. The boards feel very flimsy and make a lot of noise.
Well, like most reviews on here my box arrived damaged open on the end. There wasnt much to any damage inside so I wasnt concerned.
The first part of the assembly was going great, everything was fitting perfectly, it was such a breeze. Then it came down to the last 2 screws on the long side of the frame and it almost seemed that the holes were off my maybe a centimeter. But I was able to add in some different screws and make it work.
NOW where it all went down hill the metal slats after a little maneuvering I was able to get them all down inside the frame except for both ends! I had to really force them in there resorted to using the hammer to make it fit ! (Hints the picture with it all torn up inside).. Lets just say that isnt going anywhere now! Once you put it together dont plan on taking it apart!
So far it seems sturdy, I will update review once I get the mattress on
The mattress I got fits the bed perfectly. My son,2.5y sleeps on the bed. Its low enough to the ground even with the mattress that he is able to climb on and off with no problems. The frame is very sturdy, holds my family of 3.
Although it was a pain to put together its been a really good bed frame. For those reasons Im adding stars.
This was the most complicated thing to put together in a small room. Have a socket wrench and a power drill ready. If you are by yourself then happy building. I cursed like a saylor. I refuse to return because of time spent.
My 15 year old son and I put this together. Its made of some good heavy wood. Instructions were easy to follow. We have had it up a little over two months or so. No issues. Very sturdy. The white is modern and matched his room decor.

Please listen to me when I tell you I AM NOT a review writer, I just felt so compelled by this horrendous bed frame to warn others far, far away. I feel personally victimized by this bed frame and quite frankly dont know where to begin in the monologue of reasons why I loathe this bed. Lets start at delivery, I open up my package to find the wood damaged and breaking at the corners, light damage and it didnt bother me too much until I discovered the FUNDAMENTAL metal screw that keeps the bed frame together was missing. Yeah. Just not there. No worries, I thought - I can adapt to this challenge. I called , who directed me to AshleyFurniture home store. I then spoke with a very rude customer service representative that begrudgingly sent me my missing pieces (Like what did she think I just wanted 4 free bed frame screws ) So then after about 5 days I was growing impatient, you know, wanted to put my bed together. Yeah, called good old Ashley Furniture and they were like ohhhh about that! we forgot.. yeah never got sent out sorry. Safe to say then I was annoyed - but I kept my cool, accidents happen. At this point with the damage to the bed and the missing parts, I just wanted a refund. So then I had to call because Ashley Furniture said they do not handle refunds if bought through . So I call up , no help. They basically said if I wanted a refund I had to send them back this 100 pound broken, bed frame. Yeah not too sure how im supposed to box up a broken bed frame and get it to the post office. I offered to send photos of the damages and recipts of my interaction with Ashely Furniture but they were persistent in not giving me a refund. Whatever, I was pissed but I just wanted to sleep in my freaking bed. So after weeks of waiting, Ashley Furniture finally sends me my bed frame screws and Im able to somewhat put my broken bed together. Oh but the trouble does not stop there.
When I tell you this is the most poorly made, and down right dumb and stupid design I have ever seen. My roommate and I were practically in tears after building this bed. Seriously. Nothing fit into where it was supposed to, more parts were missing, the screws were impossible to fit into the holes, and the overall design of shoving poles into this tight slots and then practically stapleing the other parts into place was so infuriating It could have made a grown man cry. I was DONE. Oh okay, you might be thinking, its all over this poor girl and her roommate. WRONG.
I am so relevied that after a total month long process of waiting for my beds parts to come together that I never even stopped to consider that since it was literally designed by a 3 year old it is so unimaginably uncomfortable, I wake up sore after sleeping on this bed because of how poorly it was constructed. It makes so much noise just looking at it, it squeaks. I am at the point now where I literally want to throw it into the dumpster. I dont even want to subject to someone the pain of this bed by selling it to them. I will probably find a way to write another review after the horrible experience to come that will be taking this beast apart. To make a long story short, For the love of all things holy do not buy this bed.
And on a personal note to - should you see this, I want my money back.
I have put lots of furniture together and this was by far the most annoying and complicated piece Ive assembled. The directions clearly state that two people are needed for assembly and I got by alone until I had to install the slats. This step was the hardest to accomplish. It has a fabric piece that holds the crossbars but you also have to try to turn it over to install the feet braces. The center one was the hardest. Once that was done we had to try to carry it into the room where the bed frame was assembled (not enough room in there to assemble the slat part). Its just hard to manage the fabric piece and keep the slats in place. Overall, sturdy bed frame with nice height.

Bought this because it could deliver faster than my NFM order.... cant assemble because theres no hardware!! Not a single bolt. Nothing!
Poor quality Nice Style
Love the style but it came with many flaws the second we put it together and moved it into place the leg cracked.

I couldnt even put it together!!! 3 missing legs and no screws!! So ridiculous!
Beautiful and Easy to Assemble
