First off, let me just say that I originally planned on buying one of IKEA's chair beds (I believe it's called Vallentuna) at the elaborate price of $600 dollars and the price tag was turning me off, but I was willing to do it. I'm SO GLAD I didn't. One night before purchasing it, I started searching for other alternatives, not really thinking I'd find anything. To my amazement I stumbled upon this baby. I was skeptical, but I knew if I truly didn't like it, I would be willing to return it so I took a shot. It came rather quickly, no cost of shipping, and in ONE box. I opened the box and slid this big guy out. It's a very solid piece and I wasn't sure the ottoman I was looking at was going to fold out to a complete bed, but boy was I wrong. The headrest is a little tricky. I was worried, at first, that I was pushing it beyond its limit and I was going to damage it trying to get it to go back down, but when I hit the final click everything just came into place. When you bring the middle portion down, to complete the bed, you have to go slow so you don't pull or pinch the material on one of the sides. This isn't difficult, just a suggestion. This chair bed is everything I wanted it to be. It's HUGE, it's comfortable, and it's able to be positioned into so many ways that you'll never get bored. I lay a blanket on top of it before I decide to sleep on it and the added blanket is enough cushion for me, but others might not think so. If your bigger in body or like a softer bed, I'd suggest investing in a pillow topper so you can place that on top of your chair bed and feel plenty soft. If you purchase this chair bed AND a pillow topper, you're still playing LESS than what I would've paid if I had gone the IKEA way. I am COMPLETELY satisfied with this product and I really do recommend it to everyone.
We needed a furniture piece to fit in small area that provided a bed. This item fit the bill. It is well made and simple-it is not the most comfortable unit but it is functional. Paid a little more than I wanted to but this seller had more color choices.
No assembly (Yay), easy to convert from ottoman to bed and back, sturdy product. Purchased for extra sleeping in spare bedroom when the grand kids visit. Read other reviews and purchased memory foam topper for extra comfort.
Love the versatile aspect! Bigger than I imagined but in a good way. Slept on it next to my son's bed and it wasn't too terrible for my back. My son thinks it's comfy! Still think it's pricey, but I like it.
I like the how easy it to switch form one form to another in a snap. Love showing it off to friends and family

I ordered this because I've always got an extra kid at my house. Folds up nice. Comfortable for a kid. I'm not sure an adult would want to use it.
