this is not a huge cat tree but its the perfect size! my cat loves it and will not leave from it! the legs are made from string so my cat loves to dig her claws into them that is a great feature!
My cat loves this cat furniture. She is a big girl (15lbs) and curls into a cozy ball on the two level. I dont think she has figured out she can use the bottom as a scratch post so I will have to guide her. One thing she has done is tip it over in the middle of the night during her zoom zoom hour. Otherwise I find it to be pretty sturdy for a big cat. She is not one to jump high places so this is a good height for her. I also put it near a window so she can look outside, which she is doing more now that she has a bit of height and comfort at the top of the stand.
I purchased this to put on top of a counter in my sunroom for the cats to lie in the sun I did not want to large trees in there. They love it and there is always one of the two in there.
First of all, this product was purchased because my cat is crazy and falls off of things easily and gets hurt. I needed something that he could play on but be lower to the ground so he doesnt get hurt if he falls. This was just the right height, etc. My cat does LOVE to play and sit and hide behind this cat tree but there are issues with the quality of this cat tree.
First, the lower platform is not aligned right so one side is of it rests against the scratch post.
Second, the material in the front corner of the lower platform came loose immediately.
Third, I have a 9 lb cat and he nearly knocks the whole thing over when he gets on one of his crazy run-around-the-house runs. He fits just right on the top platform though.
This would be perfect for kittens or smaller cats.
Like I said, despite the issues mentioned, my cat loves this and I would recommend it with the warning that its not going to be perfect.
