Our cat really likes it. She curls up and takes a lot of her nap on tops . It is the perfect height for her to look out of the patio door to watch the birds and squirrels.
This replaced a tower that was too small as kitten became cat. He is average size 10lbs. Put it together easily. It is sturdy as it does not wamble when he climbs it. He uses the scratch board and poles.
I needed a cat stand for Atticus that wasn't too tall for the height of the window, and this one is perfect. He's a big guy (just over 13lbs), so I did some research before I settled on this one. As you can see, he's very happy with it! The lower shelf is smaller than I expected, but honestly, I can't always visualize dimensions. There's no way he'll fit on it, so I think that's where
we'll store his toys. The low height (about 19 from the floor to the base of the platform) is good for him, too, because as he gets older, it's tougher for him to jump up.
The fabric covering is soft, plush, and looks comfy. Atticus has already tested the sisal scratching legs, and they seem to meet his approval.
There was a funky smell when I opened the box, but that was completely gone once I threw the plastic wrap out. The stand was very easy to assemble, and the tool needed to tighten the bolts is included.

Got it in today. So easy to put together. Perfect height for our window. And we are going to work hard with our little Salem to get him to scratch on this and nothing else. Right now it seems very sturdy. Hes already been on it twice and we have only had the post assembled for like 4 hours.
