They sent us white, we ordered graphite. First major problem. Assembly did not make my husband pull his hair out so Id say not so bad. Sturdiness, pretty good considering it looks like flakeboard. Did come in with a few decent sized chips that appeared to have been painted over. It looks lovely though all assembled. Make sure you reiterate what color you want. Its a very big and heavy item to have to return. Fireplace is esthetically pleasing and so far so good it works for first day.
Hubby put this stand together by himself in 2 hrs. They had all of the parts clear directions. It is Beautiful we get so many compliments on it!! It is really sturdy the paint finish wasnt chipped anywhere. So that was good. Im trying to see how long the led lights flames shine bright the heat pumps out. I dont run it long, in case it burns out easily. at least until we find a way to replace everything if it does. The heat definitely pumps out warm enough to fill a small room. The 70 one is perfect far as height width. Buying a 2nd one when the price goes bk down .

Looks great Ill give them that however the instructions werent very clear and for the price i was highly upset to discover I couldnt place some of my screws in because there was no hole area for them to go through. This happened with the led lights screws, the screws for securing the fireplace to the stand, and for screwing the back panels on. For a 400 item this is unacceptable!

Its really nice and brings an aming vibe to the room. The build was very difficult because for me some of the lock nuts wouldnt lock when I turned them. It seems tough though so that a huge plus. The materials are heavy duty and I love that. Ive had no real major issues with it. I recommend you by this but just not at 400 . Its not even solid wood. Its still that cheap pressed wood. I got mine for 332. Thats still pricey to me but it makes sense. I advise you to wait until there is a sale.
Other than that its a great buy and Im very happy with it!

Ive read a lot of the one star reviews. Dont listen to them. It doesnt need wood glue and it doesnt chip. If yours did just send it back and get another. Ive moved with mine and it doesnt have a scratch on it! Its built well and is sturdy if youre a normal human being. These people on here are so weird!????♂?
