The video of the woman assembling this is a bit misleading. Yes I was able to easily assemble this by myself I absolutely needed help getting the giant box into my house, getting the couch out of the box and then getting the main piece up stairs. They dont show what leads up to her easily screwing things together once its inside. This is the first time I bought furniture that was delivered unassembled and delivered by the mail man, not furniture delivery people who carry it to the room it was purchased for, so I hadnt considered the impossibility of getting it upstairs alone. There is not a single hand hold on the main futon piece.
Anyways, now that its done I do like it. Its attractive and easy to use. Not soft like a bed by any means and nearly as narrow as a twin mattress when laid out, but it should do the job nicely for the TV room Im setting up.
EDIT: Ive been using this for a few days now and Im really pleased with it. I think its comfortable for sitting (with an ottoman to put feet up on) and laying on it couch style. Ive not used it as a sleeper. It would be five starts from me if it handles on the back and bottom to move it.
This futon was perfect for the pace. We bought it to add to our extra room that that the grandchildren use when they stay over. It was easy to assemble and took less than an hour to get up. The grandchildren love it and state it is comfortable. My 31 year old son ahs started using the room more and watching his pro games on the television in the room. He says the futon adds a comfort to the room and makes it inviting. I would purchase again.
Fairly easy to assemble. Easy instructions. Looks absolutely great. Seems to be sturdy construction. Comfort is what I would expect for price paid. That is not to say it is uncomfortable because it is.
2 mos later and this is easily the best futon for the money. Not great on comfort but not bad at all. Really impressed with durability and quality of construction.
I look forward to seeing how well the cushions last. I would buy this again.
I selected the grey linen version. I am a 5'1 woman. I put this together by myself and it is quiet study but comfortable. It is in my office, and people love it. They cannot believe that I was able to get it for the price. Needs some throw pillows for style and some additional comfort, but definitely a great bargain buy!
I love the color and style. A little smaller and firmer than I hoped, though. I hope it holds up to my 3 young kids and dog. Very easy to put together. I did it on my own in less than 30 minutes, just needed help putting it upright after putting the legs on. One real negative is how the back folds up and attaches with velcro. It feels flimsy and it's actually loud every time you sit and move. It's not exactly comfortable, but not terrible. (I got used to our ancient, overstuffed, chenille couch). I'm having slight buyer's remorse, wishing I could have spent more on a bigger, more comfortable sofa but it just wasn't in the budget. Have not tried the bed yet but hopefully it will be comfy enough because it will be our permanent bed. (Small house problems).
It's not expensive considering it is a couch, but it's also not very comfortable, especially if you're over 200lb. the spring in couch can be felt when you sit down, but it's an cheaper option and convenient for us.
I wanted something inexpensive that I could put in my family room and these futons did the trick. The only issue I have is the way the back looks, but it does lay down, so I know that's why! I am very pleased with how the room turned out

Great looking, great color, great for studio apartment but not very comfortable
