Looks nice, but its black as midnight. Have an espresso bench that I was trying to match and this is very black. Otherwise, well made and looks nice for the money.
I bought this product to use as a shoe-rack for the entry way. It is sleek enough to comfortably fit in to the narrow space and yet spacious enough to accomade footware for the five of us. The shelf in the top part is an added bonus for keeping small items like keys or a compact umbrella.
However the instructions that came along with it were faulty in some places. We figured the correct way though, it would be nice to have correct instructions as we are not professionals in furniture fitting.
Over all satisfied, but only 4 out of 5 stars for the faulty instructions.
This item should take you an hour if you try with no distractions but if your drinking wine on your 10 year anniversary because your wife is mad at you for reasons you dont know it will take you 2 to 3. Just make sure you dont use power tools exception on lower shelving units. Just dont go crazy or the wife might get a little more mad haha. Take your time and you will be alright.
It is what it is for the price. All put together pretty sturdy. I give it 3 months with the way my kids are. Hope this is helpful. Cheers and good luck!
This stand now graces the entryway of our vacation home. It is absolutely beautiful. Great place to hold keys and the mail. Lots of storage space underneath as well. I got little soft bins to put under in case a storage was needed. i know others say its a bit challenging to put together, and it does take a bit of time. But simply follow the instructions and take your time and it will come together nicely.

I think its an attractive piece and looks good. I needed it for storage in my dining room. Took me a few days to put it together but thats because I am 76, have bad knees, so getting up and down from the floor is difficult. I am happy with the piece.
This piece was perfect because it fit a very small, unique space I had. It offers a nice splash of color. However, you definitely get what you pay for because it isnt super sturdy and the paint scratched almost immediately. The drawer is super shaky and doesnt feel very solid.
And people are NOT JOKING when they say 2-hour set up. It was a full two hours. I would recommend building the piece on top of a sheet or blanket to avoid scratching the paint during set up-- like I did!
