Easy to put together! A bit hard to lower for kids, piston is strong. Shows a lot of finger prints, so a must to clean if you have greasy kids fingers on them.
Since Ive started from scratch in a new apartment I have very little furniture yet -- the couch is a couple of weeks from being delivered. The stools came within a couple of days and were very easy to put together. They are the only thing for me to sit on and have spent several hours each day on them at the highest level (31) for working and eating at my counter. They are comfortable, sturdy and attractive. They are also non-obtrusive -- they have a low enough back (mid way) that they dont take over the room.
I spent hours pouring through websites and going to stores looking at bar stools. Most of the time you are lucky if you can find a decent one for $125 per stool. These were inexpensive and came as a pair for under $100. I would not pay more than that for these but at that price it is a fantastic find. I will update my review in a few months time to add if theyve held up but for my initial impression, they are probably the the most comfortable bar stools you will find for at an inexpensive, reasonable price.
Great value! We bought 4 at first but liked them so well that we ordered another set. One suggestion - use car polish on the base to protect from scratches, we didnt on the first 4 and they got scratched up very quickly! The last 2 still look pretty good.
I use these at my craft worktable. Comfortable while working, no issues so far.
I do not feel the seat slant to be an issue as reported by other users.
Im gonna have to engineer something to make these sit level. When I sit on them it feels like Im leaning forward. It is even more compounded with these being on carpet.
These are nowhere near commercial quality, but I expect they will last for many years for my purpose: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, with the occasional use as guest chairs when Ive a full house.
Assembly is very straightforward, with only 4 bolts (allen wrench included) and gravity doing the rest. IMPORTANT: When attaching the footrest/upper post to the seat bottom, slide the seat back as far as it will go (theres only about a quarter inch of play) and tighten it down. Otherwise the center of gravity (your butt) tends to tilt the seat forward, giving you (or at least me) the uncomfortable feeling that youre sliding out of the seat.
The metal bits seem a little thin, but my 235 pounds was supported without a single hint of flex from the post or base. Even the footrest is sturdy, and it needs to be, because you have to put a fair amount of weight on it to get up into the chair at most heights. At maximum height (and again supporting 235 pounds) the base was sturdy and without flex or any feeling I was about to topple, even though I was intentionally trying to rock the chair.
All in all, I believe it is a good value for the two digit price I paid, and would buy again if I needed more than a pair. Last thing of note: The packaging was well designed and protective, and NO STYROFOAM to make a mess everywhere.
I bought these as a gift for my granddaughters appartment. They came in two days.I loved them.Better yet so did she. Took five minutes to put together. Very happy with this product
I like the chairs, but the box was completely open on the bottom with the contents literally falling out as we picked up the box. Luckily, all the parts were included, but was very disappointed in the packing.

Perfect Contemporary Choice For the Price
Easy to assemble, looks chic, comfortable and an amazing value. I wasnt sure if I would like them and I just ordered two more!
Works for me

Not bad - dont sit level

Quite nice considering the two digit price tag
