Oh my goodness, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this coffee table! I bought it in Espresso, the instructions took a minutes to find lol, but the readability was on point and it is helpful but not needed to have an electric drill with a Phillips bit. Just makes putting together quicker I would definitely purchase this table again! As the top lifts, Ive noticed how stable it is!

Was very easy to assemble with two people. I would recommend two people, one person is doable but very tricky.
The liftop works great, but be a bit gentle with it. It opens from both sides and quite sturdy.
However, FAQ is spot on, when lifted its not great for tough steak dinners or similar meals that need force to cut. But its perfect when lifted for resting your laptop, eating things that dont need vigorous cutting, etc. But its a coffee table, not a dining room table, so I feel like that should be expected.

These tables are nice but pretty light and need footers on the bottom of their feet not to slide all over ones hard wood. The pop up part isnt as sturdy n thick as Id like but works keeping pets out of our food or bringing my laptop up to where I need it.
The product performs exactly as expected. Its very sturdy in both the lifted and lowered positions. Obviously it was slightly more challenging to put together, but with two people, its a breeze.
I used this product in my living room. I am very pleased with the finish product. Had a few struggles with the assembly but with a little help it wasnt too bad.
This thing sucked to put together; far too many awkward positions to screw in 5+ screws at one time. In the end, the lifting top is unstable as heck; super/wobbly. You have to be very gentle lifting it and shutting it back. You get what you pay for.
