Be aware that this comes in one very large, and very heavy package. I could not ship it to my home so instead sent it to my work. I needed multiple hands to get it into my SUV and it didnt fit 100%. Delivery time was a little unspecific when I placed the order but it ended up taking about 3 weeks from order to delivery.
The daybed and the trundle are included. I paid just over $200 and this bed is just fabulous. There is one small decorate knob on one of the spindles that seems to have taken a hit in transit. It has a small dent in it, and barely noticeable paint missing. Its small enough that I can barely see it and, if I wanted, I imagine some white out would cover any of the paint chipping or scratches. It does come in pieces so be prepared for time to assemble. I would estimate at least 2-3 hours. I had some concerns about how well the trundle would roll on the carpeted room I was putting it in. Fantastic!! It moves so easily and glides on casters that spin 360 degrees. Compared to some of the trundle beds I had shopped before this purchase, this was a dream to move.
Overall, the quality of the piece is outstanding, the paint finish looks like it should hold up well and the ease of use on the trundle makes this a bed I would recommend highly!
This bed literally collapsed with me on it. I weigh 115lbs and I have had this bed for one month. The supports buckled and several bolts broke. This is a very dangerous object. Stay away from anything made this company.
The bed frame is ok, the bolts should probably be factory painted to match the bedframe as they are very noticeably shiny metal. I found a couple of sharp spots which I was able to pick-off with my thumbnail, maybe drips from the welds. Some of the welds are not very presentable; however, overall I am very pleased with the bedframe.
I bought this for my daughters room to replace a full sized trundle bed that took up most of her small bedroom. It is absolutely beautiful, and many people have asked where I got it because they would like one. It has classic styling, and goes great with her shabby chic decor. I only wish we would have bought it sooner.
I put it together myself in a couple hours, and I am not handy. I didnt put together the trundle because she needs the storage, and it is fun to play under there. I like that there is a space at the end so your feet will not bump into the bed frame. I got an 8 inch memory foam mattress on for around $99, and a small mattress topper to make it more comfortable because the mattress is pretty firm. You could get by with a 6 inch mattress.
I, a 30-something fairly handy momma of 3, put it together with only my 2-year old to help me and it took us only 2 hours. Although I havent put the trundle together yet as we dont need it right now. All 3 of my kids played on the bed last night and shes still holding strong . I did have one of the support rails not fit exactly in the space but once I double checked that the bed was square it slipped right in. So if youre having a fitting issue make sure all your corners are at a 90 degree angle. The measuring is that precise! I do wish that the welds were a little cleaner but for the price Im impressed! Would def buy again! My daughter loves her big girl bed!
Great value, very high quality powder coating. It does come in a bazillion pieces but it went together very easily and the instructions were clear. Took me about 2 hours to assemble.
