It is very sturdy, not squeeky and wobbly like many metal beds ...

Got this bed for my son, who wanted to downsize from a queen bed, so he could have room for a desk and other stuff in his room. He is an almost 6-ft. tall, 260 lb. boy, very big kid, and he fits in the bed, but if he grows two more inches, he probably wont, lol! It is very sturdy, not squeeky and wobbly like many metal beds are. Not sure on the trundle yet, as it hasnt been tried out, but everything seems to be of good, solid quality. The 16-year old put it together himself, so not too complicated, although he is good at that type of thing. So far, pretty satisfied overall with this bed.

    disappointing

the trundle bed frame is very thin, two of the bolts welded to it are crooked, one of the attachment points in the metal frame is torn at the corner. one of the balusters is dented but that is cosmetic.

Great quality product. Good looking and easy to assemble.

Buy this now! We own this in the twin size and full size!! This trundle is clean looking, sturdy and affordable. The white is nice looking, and allows you to use whatever bedding you like. I put this together with a friend ( and I am not handy at all) all of the tools are included, and it looks great in the rental bedrooms we used. I love it too since you can tuck the trundle away when you are not using it!!!

    Good and sturdy

Good and sturdy. Its doesnt have a smooth bronze to it, its more like Spackle bronze, but my daughter loves it. She uses it as a couch and the trundle for company.

not too complicated to build. holds my sister and i well and we weigh 130-200 pounds each. Only thing is some of the bars have come loose. lasted an entire year before we noticed this though and its not a big problem.

assembly was a nightmare.... and 1 year later its broken

the assembly was a nightmare. If I knew how difficult the assembly was going to be, I would have not purchased this bed. There was a LOT of pieces, which is totally fine, However when you follow the step by step instructions, the bed will NOT go together. Be prepared to tweak the instructions to get this assembled. I have a LOT of patience but it still took 2 1/2 hours and 3 people!! Update: 1 year later the trundle is broken and cannot be fixed, has to go in the trash, this was a bad purchase

    Worth It

Pros: I am fairly satisfied with this bed. It does not creek and it feels very solid. When I move around, I doesnt sway at all. The bed put together weighs about 50 lbs and fits my queen bed perfect. All parts were in a neatly organized packet and the directions were very easy to read. Cons: The bed is cheap and youll notice putting it together by the welds and painting. Welds are extremely sloppy, and the paint has flaws. Fortunately, the pain is smooth and regular to the touch. The way it falls together also shows some bolts and gaps. However few will notice unless they spend time with the bed and look closely. The whole picture looks great and feels just as good. The only issue I had was some of the welding left bits of metal in the screw sockets. I went to Home Depot and bought a file set for $10 and cleared the metal debris in 5 strokes. This only happened in one place on the entire bed assembly. This the reason why I took off a star because the hastle it caused as we tried for 30 minutes trying to put one screw in on step 1. Conclusion: its worth it! Its a great price and something I have no issue with living with. Also would be great for a spare bedroom. Expect 1-2 hours to put together.

This is a great value for the money

This is a great value for the money. I switched out my sofa for a day bed for when guests come over. Its sturdy and I put it together by myself in less than an hour. If I had another person probably would cut time in half!!! I got the 8 gel mattress but it will probably expand up a bit more as I just unpacked it. I use the bottom trundle for storage.

    Poor Workmanship

We bought this bed for our guest room after seeing all the great reviews. We were really excited to get it but disappointed when we did. Now I know this was $169 and didnt expect something phenomenal given the low price. But the workmanship was very poor - specifically the welding. Everywhere there was a weld (which is everywhere) you could see globs that were just painted over. It was not a smooth weld and looked cheap. We were willing to over look that since it was cheap and a guest bed. But then, after assembling half the frame, we realized the legs didnt lay flush on the floor. One leg was hovering 1.5 inches off the ground! There was no way you could make that work - anytime you roll over the bed would wobble from side to side and be unstable. We thought maybe the assembly needed to be adjusted and tried to correct it, but it turned out one of the parts was bent. The long peice that would be the back of the frame was warped and bent, so when you forced it to screw into the back leg it forced the front leg up bc it doesnt want to lay flat, it wants to twist. We ended up tearing the whole thing down, repackaging it as best we could, and sending it back. Maybe we just got a bad one. But it was not worth the hassle. made the return easy at least with UPS coming to pick it up. But overall, disappointed.

Surprisingly sturdy and quiet. Great price!!!

I have never like metal bed frames. Grew up with one that squeaked with every toss and turn. Very quiet and sturdy. The box was delivered banged up. Think UPS guy dropped it. Despite the damage to the box, the packing really protected the contents. I am really impressed with the product especially with the amount I paid (<$160). BTW, Assembly with two adult women and a 9 yr old boy was ~90 min.
