Ours arrived damaged, box had been dropped quite a few times in shipping process. The few dents were disappointing but OK overall. Following the directions we had the bed assembled in about 1 hour. The white color is more of a cream. My husband used a power drill to get everything nice and tight.
My husband and I assembled this bed in about 2 hours; from unboxing to laying on top of our mattress. All of the tools needed are included. After reading other reviews I added Teflon tape to all of the screws. This will keep them from backing out or squeaking. The instructions were clear and essay to follow. The bed provides excellent support for our mattress. We collectively weigh about 450lbs.
My daughter loves her new bed. Shes very excited for sleepovers to happen again in the future! It was very easy to put together. Took about 30 minutes with the help of two others. It would have taken longer alone but Im confident it would have been easy as well. Its a gorgeous bed at a great price. I highly recommend this bed!
The bed is a perfect and was a great price. Exactly what I needed. Only one downside, the two width sides would be better a 4 inches higher to place pillows against. The trundle is used as a storage instead of an extra mattress, works out great.
Some reviews say the screws arent labeled and my husband said they were labeled for the actual day bed and for the trundle but he said it would be helpful if people were told that when it comes time to put the support bars in (the ones the mattress lays on) you will have to loosen one side of the bed that you already assembled, in order to make the bars fit in. Then tighten again. He just assembled the bed and it feels STURDY. Time will tell but we both agree this was more than worth the cost and will likely last.
So this is a funny story. I bought this bed for my son to sleep on when he is home visiting from college. So him and his girlfriend that I absolutely love they have know each other since 6th grade (just like me and hubby) come to visit for Christmas and says hey the trundle doesnt pop up so we can sleep together. Score for mom!!!! The bed is very comfy and very sturdy because my baby is a big boy
Wouldnt know any of these since the damned thing did not come with instructions!!!!!!! I am not happy at all!!!!!!! I liked the the price but now I know why it was inexpensive, you have to figure out how to figure how to put it together!!!!
