I was reluctant to order this bench since many of the reviews claimed it was hard to assemble and was poorly made. But one reviewer noted that the negative reviews were from several years ago while recent reviews were more positive. I took an chance and ordered it and Im glad I did. The bench is well-constructed, very attractive and the assembly was straightforward. It is a good product at a reasonable price. What more can one ask for?
Love the seat. Perfect for our mudroom. Must follow directions exactly when putting together. Had to start over when I put a partition in backward. My fault, not the instructions. Looks good snd very functional.
Highly recommended. Exactly what we wanted. We were a bit nervous to buy due to reviews that it was difficult to assemble, but we were pleasantly surprised! All parts were packaged extremely well, nothing damaged, and we put it together in 15 minutes with no issues. Parts were clearly labeled and there was even a little bag of extra items just in case, all we needed was a Philips head screwdriver. This bench is solid for the $$$ and fits well in our entryway. Highly recommend!
This bench looks much more expensive than it actually is. My wife is very happy with it and it looks great in the space. It went together pretty easy but I used my Milwaukee power drivers. WIthout those or something similar, this would be very tough to assemble using just the tools included. Unless your hands are under 25 years old.
It is also worth mentioning that it is packaged very well. Even though the box is fairly heavy nothing was damaged. That is always a concern when shipping something like this.
