I love my coastal glass curio cabinet. It is so beautiful. My collection of praise figurines are displayed clearly, with no wooden sides to obstruct view. I could not be more pleased. I love it.
Not sure..there are many out there in Ikea, cheaper than this but..I liked, this. Dont have high expectations on the product. It is not bringing a whooping change to the room, but wanted to store my trophies, and small items, in the living room. and I did like it . you need 3 strong persons to assemble it
This cabinet is absolutely gorgeous and fits unobtrusively in the bedroom as a display for my doll collection. It doesnt clash with our antiques, and it was well worth the money. I could have gotten it for half the price at Ikea, but we dont own a truck and would have had to have someone deliver it, so it worked out about the same. And with , you know youll get quick delivery on things. We expected to wait a week, but it came within several days of my ordering it.
Great buy, well worth the money just to have someone bring it to your front door. Its HEAVY--weights about 90 pounds. We own a set of hand trucks, so were able to get it into the house okay. Then we cut the package down the middle into two separate packages that my hubby could hustle onto the hand trucks.
Putting it together was a little tricky because my husband and I are both senior citizens, but we managed it without too much difficulty. The hardest part for us was getting those two side panels and the back panel in the correct position so they would fit in the channel on the bottom--we finally figured out we had to slide the ones on the side in from the front, and then everything matched up.
I may have to order another cabinet soon, as I have nearly filled this one up with dolls! By the way, unless you live in a very dark house, theres no need for a light, as the whole thing is glass except for the top and the bottom.
Very easy to assemble. I put it together by myself. once I put the bolts through the bottom piece, I stood it up against the wall and finished the assembly. This way I didnt have to lift it as described in the directions.
