During quarantine, we received two of these beds (one for each kid / they are 10 and 12) and as a home ec project, I had them work together to build the beds themselves. It took them about 20 minutes to do the first one and 15 for the second. They sent extra hardware which was nice. The beds look great and are sturdy / a great value for the price!
I just received this product and had my 1st sleep on it, so this is a 1st impression review and I will come back months later to update. Upon opening, it was very straightforward; everything is labeled, directions are clear. Assembly time was about 20/25 min. Wood seems to be good quality as well as the hardware. I have the queen size and I have a latex mattress; the slats are 3.5 apart, so its suitable for this purpose. The bed doesnt make any noise at all and it FEELS sturdy. I am 200 lbs and when I plop down, it does not feel like I am on a cheap bed frame. So far, appears to be great value. Time will tell.
This bed looks nice, but the slats started sagging, causing back pain. I took it apart and put our mattress on the floor and things have been better. I definitely wouldnt recommend it. We were using a king size purple mattress on it, and I only weigh about 160lbs, so I dont think this frame is too solid.
Very impressed with this! SOLID ! Took me (59 y/o woman) about 30 mins to assemble. A couple of the instructions confused me for a sec / just pics, no words and I am a words person. One bolt on one leg didnt go in tight but the other bolts more than compensate (lost a star for that). Every thing is easy peasy for assembly overall. Looks great! Was thinking Id make a headboard later from pallets but it is nice just simple. Did the nestea plunge twice to test the strength (didnt want it to dump me in the middle of the night, sleeping)and Im a bigger gal and it didnt shake or shimmy.
This bed frame seems to be very sturdy! It was super easy to assemble, and I like the sticky tape to hold the mattress in place. I wish it was about 5 inches higher, but lots of beds like thos are pretty low to the ground. I can slide small bins underneath, which helps with storage.
The assembly was straight forward, logical, and simple. Came together in about 30/40 mins and I am confident it will hold up due to the quality of the wood and hardware keeping it together!
If I had to critique anything, the package that the bolts, washers screws come in arent labeled well so there was a lot of guessing as to what goes where and what is c vs. g, etc. but the manual gives pictures and measurements that make up for it a bit.
Overall this is a great option that I feel will last me for a long time. Make sure you have someone to help you carry the box when it gets there! Its heavy and very long.
