Easy directions. I bought this to replace a 20 year/old boxspring that was falling apart and leaving me feeling as though I was sinking and tilted. It came in a long, thin box. Not a lot of packing material but it didnt need it since the entire thing (except the cover) is made of . The parts came in a compartmentalized container that makes it impossible for them to short you on the parts (as opposed to them being in a bag), but they include a few extras anyway. They also include a handy ratchet that fits the hex screws, as well as a manual hex screwdriver. The parts and instructions have numbers so its very easy to match and know youre doing the right thing in the right order. It was very easy to put together, the only difficulty being based on the sheer size and ability to maneuver it. When I went to put the cover on (which makes it look like a normal, pre/made box spring, I thought for sure it wasnt going to fit. But once I got it properly around the corners, it became obvious it would and zipped up without issue. Its only been a week, but so far so good and its nice to finally be lying on a flat mattress again.
Excellent product! If anyone is ever in the market for a platform bed OR box/spring, I HIGHLY recommend this, ESPECIALLY for short ppl, or special needs ppl, or if you use a wheelchair or just need your bed to not be as high Or that you may have recently bought a new Hybrid Mattress / many of these are over 12 in total thickness and when setting on top of a standard frame with rollers and a regular size box/spring you will find that you can easily be nearly three feet off the floor( this is not cool unless you are really tall ) Note It comes in twin, full, Queen, and King ( We chose the Queen) / It has No silly wood slats that can break instead it uses a smart slats spaced an even 3 inches apart that lock into place . This is tough and sturdy and can be used with a bedframe as the box/spring, because, it really IS the box/spring. .Or also used as a platform and it will fit perfectly inside a standard Queen size bed/frame and let you keep your head/board if you have it attached to your frame. Couldnt be happier but be prepared to take your time reading all instructions before assembling it/and lay the pieces out first where they need to lay for assembly / get some help stretching on the included cover over the Low profile Smart Box Spring / its way too tough for one to to this step alone .in closing its not rocket science and Im sure one will get many years of service out of this product.
Great Product. Ive only had this a few days, but got no complaints. It was a lot easier to assemble than I expected. I appreciate that it comes with a rachet. It feels very solid. Ive slept great the past few nights.
I like it. I liked that the item was delivered on time without any damage. I like the foundation because it is exactly as advertised. Its a true 4 inch foundation that gives me the height I need for my mattress. I also like that I will never have to buy another foundation because it is all . I like that it was easy for me to put together Whats not too like?
cute. I bought this because my sons new bed frame conversion didnt come with slats as I thought. I had already gotten his matress at the store and was not going back only to hear the box spring would have to be ordered. This is a very simple construction process that yield a very sturdy box. It was a breeze to put together and easily maneuverable once its assembled.
Yes, Its great. loves it. Bought this for my elderly mothers full size bed. New mattress was so high that I needed a low profile box spring so that her feet would touch the floor! The 4/inch box spring arrived and I took it up to her bedroom to assemble. It would have been nice to have assistance carrying the box up (about 40/45 lbs) but since that wasnt available, I just took the pieces up in 2 trips and went to work on assembly. Took about 30 minutes, maybe. Not difficult at all and the height was perfect for what we were looking for. Seems to be very sturdy.
