The product arrived well packed, complete, and undamaged. The assembly instructions were thorough and well presented and all necessary parts and pieces were included. If you can follow instructions the assembly is straightforward and pretty simple. There was, however, a small glitch that could have presented a problem to someone without a variety of tools. When attaching the top of the sliding desk it is necessary to screw the lower shelf section and a support bar to the underside. I found there were no pre/drilled holes in the underside of the top section and though it was simple enough to determine how the parts went together without the pre/drilled holes anyone without a drill and a small bit would have been unable to complete the assembly. And if you arent careful there is always the chance you drill too far and pass through the desktop which, though not fatal, would ruin the overall appearance of the desk. I managed to complete the task without complications and am happy with the results. Once assembled, the bed feels sturdy and durable. Im sure over time some re/tightening will be necessary but as of right now everyone is happy. the product is beautiful and honestly exceeded my expectations

Each piece is numbered and all hardware come in their own bag and are also labeled. I didnt have one problem during the assembly and all pieces were there. I also found this same bed at Ashley furniture for nearly 200 more. Buy this one and save some money. Product is exactly as descriproduct
He saw the bed without the dresser built/installed now the bed has a fort under it the dresser is on its own wall but its SOOO MUCH FUN!!! Ran a usb recharge, led light strip on the inside front ralil now he has mood lighting/nightlight in his fort. He loves it!!! FEI: Bed came without dresser hardware or assembly instructions. Contacted costumer services they sent wrong hardware wrong instructions. They rush delivered 2nd time to make it right. We are still VERY pleased with the purchase. Well built product

I was really impressed with the quality of this item. It was much sturdier than other assemble/yourself furniture I have bought. Weight/bearing joints were reinforced with the screw going into metal instead of just wood. There were numerous bed slats attached with wood screws, not just wedged in, making the bed safer for my bed/jumping 6/year old.
The directions were simple and easy to follow, though I did have to redo a few bits of the bed because both orientations of the bed (ladder/left vs ladder/right) were on the same page and my eye skipped to the wrong one. Fixing it was simple, however, and did not affect the appearance of the bed. The allen wrenches included were bent on both ends, not the normal L/shape, which made turning the screws so much faster, with a simple winding motion.
My only complaint on this item was that I stripped out one of the long hex screws on the bed frame, and there were no extra screws. I believe this hole might not have been drilled perfectly, the screw was bent when I pulled it out with pliers. However, there are so many extra points of support for the bedrail this screw went into that I feel the bed is perfectly safe without it, even if I dont manage to find a matching screw at the hardware store.
Very pleased with this bed! Sturdier than I expected
I was almost hesitant on ordering this bed after reading the bad reviews. It is a very nice bed and was easy for my brother to assemble. It only took him a couple hrs to put together. All parts were there and NO wood spilt. The bed came in 3 different boxes. Very satisfied. I would definitely buy again.

Have patience and wine. Pre/assembly what you can before screwing. Desk is missing some drill holes. Altogether, I am satisfied with product. Oh, I have to figure out how to get warning sticker headboard. Pretty comfy for the price
