I plan to use this futon lightly, for occasional guest sleepovers. It is not soft enough for watching TV for 2 hours. It may be too close to the floor especially for long legged users. To be exact, from the top of the cushion to the floor it is 15 inches. I am 57 and the back of my knees doesnt touch the cushion, so the waeight of my legs is fully carried by the feet on the floor. Maybe that is the best way, but you should know. Year 2017 reviews show this futon was selling for 200. Well it has accrued value because it is selling for over 330 now. I dont count on one day reselling it for over the current price, though. I am still looking for the velcro that was supposed to be included to be used on the back of the couch,
