The product is very comfortable I was looking for a cream colored couch and this one listed as tan (close enough) but when it arrived it IS cream It took me about an hour alone to put it together, just make sure to unzip the bottom cushion first because that is where the instructions were on mine. If I could make just one recommendation go out and buy yourself a deep socket wrench set before hand this will save you over 30 minutes and a ton of frustration. You are given this tiny little wrench thing that keeps slipping when you try and turn it so it takes a long time. Other than that the directions are very clear and the couch is very nice. Yes the bottom is firm but still comfortable.
