I put this together by myself with relative ease (reasonable small woman). Patience and not tightening all bolts until the end helped. Directions were clear, parts were obvious.
I have a thick foam mattress boxspring on top of this frame. Two height settings, think about your choice well before setting it up! Initially, I did the tallest one. Had a heck of a time getting my heavy mattresses/boxspring onto the frame and hated having to jump up into bed, plus it looked silly with the curved top of frame barely peaking above. I had to take a lot of stuff apart to redo it.
