Took awhile to assemble and the hardware smelled like it had fish oil to keep it from rusting. Its very cute and wasnt difficult to assemble though. I did struggle with the headboard, a board was warped and took multiple attempts to screw together. I also used loctite on all screws to help with sturdiness, which had worked wonderfully. Cute bed and would buy again! Did not disappoint
