Solidly made / should hold rated weight but I woiuldnt jump up and down on the top or bounce on the ladders. Does not squeak at all and rocks very little. Be sure to CAREFULLY read ALL directions before starting / the holes and braces need to be placed exactly as they show / but they dont show them on EACH step (and should). Plan ahead. I love this!
