I am a small sized person and this chair is comfortable overall for about an hour or so. Not overly cushy, but still soft enough to relax while watching TV in the room I use for exercise workouts. Its easy to get in and out of.....unlike my sofa. So for me this chair is great for a good short term rest, which was my purpose in buying it. Perfect for my needs
