It was easy to put together, though you should definitely have two people. Its also definitely very attractive and a simple clean design. However based on the issues Ive had, I cant recommend this frame.
One problem is that not all four of the legs underneath reach the floor. Only two of them do and this causes a lot more pressure to be put on these legs. I hoped that once I put the mattress on and if someone was on it, that weight would push the other legs down, however that didnt happen; theyre still a good inch off the floor. I recently moved so I took it apart and put it back together. When I did this, I saw that the frame piece that went horizontal that was connected to the two legs touching the floor seemed weakened and worn. It didnt make me feel very confident in how long the bed will last since there is more pressure being applied to some of the pieces of the frame. I did try and place something under the legs that didnt touch the floor in order to help distribute the weight more, however at this point Im not sure how much of a difference its made.
Another issue is that, every few weeks I find I have to go around and tighten all the nuts, bolts, and screws because it starts making this terrible creaking sound when theyre loose. This is after tightening them as far as they will go, both by me and various other people. The annoying thing is that its usually only one spot that is loose and you cant always figure out where that is and you end up being stuck with the creaking for weeks or months until you find that one screw. I would imagine that this is a problem is a lot of metal beds that are put together like this and is not unique to this bed. Its just something to keep in mind since it personally find it quite annoying.
I wouldnt buy this bed again given the facts and that I dont believe the frame will last long given the problems.
Pretty but wouldnt buy again
