    No Hassle Assembly

I have put together WAY more office furniture than I care to remember over the years. In general, it is a pretty slow and tedious process. I'm used to dealing with poor quality parts, bad instructions, confusing directions and spending way more time than I would have liked on the project. This turned out to be one of those rare exceptions where none of these applied. The number of parts may look a bit daunting at first, but they go together so quickly that the thing is put together before you know it. I was able to go from unpacking to complete assembly in about 15 minutes. The one-page instruction manual isn't all that detailed, but it really doesn't need to be since the parts are very logically laid out and it would be very difficult to put anything into place the wrong way. I would glance at the instructions every once in awhile, but for the most part I was just able to figure it out on my own. The individual parts are a lot sturdier than on other chairs I have put together recently. Probably the nicest parts are the wheels. They aren't the typical cheap-o ones that normally come on office chairs but oversized ones that make rolling the chair extremely easy. They are VERY similar to the wheels you would see on roller blades. The task of assembly is made much easier by the special Allen wrench that comes with the kit. It's large handle makes screwing in the Allen bolts much simpler and faster. I am going to end up using the tool for other projects where I need an Allen wrench. The chair itself is very stable due to the five leg design and heavy duty wheels. The back rest and head rest are adjustable and the webbed backing does a great job at keeping your back from getting overheated. The bottom of the chair is comfortable to sit in for long periods of time and the spring mechanism is solid enough that you can actually lean back in the chair without worry that it is going to break, like I have known some cheaper ones to do. This chair is definitely a great deal based on both price and quality. P.S. For some odd reason the kit also included a single, white glove that looks as if it would fit a child in pre-school. I never could figure out the reason for this.
