Finish is uneven along the left side as well as the horizontal panel. Decided to use that panel for the middle, as not as much light is on it. When we received the package we were missing three screws. Was going to return the shelf based on the finish irregularities alone, but we needed this to work for an open house so I drove to Homedepot to get screws of a similar size. Looks fine from afar. Pretty sturdy.
