Beautiful, stable, but somewhat challenging assembly
The finished product has been amazing so far. Were using ours as part of our entryway furniture so its just holding keys and a couple other decorative items, but it definitely seems like it could hold a much more significant amount of weight. I think the color is slightly lighter and more variegated than it seems in the pictures; theres more definition to the wood grain and the overall color isnt quite as dark as I thought it would be. This actually works for me better because I was thinking I might need to paint it if the wood was too dark. My only real concern is with the construction. None of the parts were labeled so you have to look closely at the pictures to make sure youre doing things right, and the instructions recommend two people for assembly. Its not essential to have two people, but it definitely would have helped the process go along more easily. I have some concerns about two of the slats in the back because theyre essentially just held in with dowels into pre-drilled holes. I would have felt better if they screwed in somehow, but again, we havent had any problems with them yet and the overall frame seems sturdy. I just think if theres any weak points in the table, its going to be those back slats, so its something to be aware of depending on your needs. But Im still overall very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a small table!
