I bought this chair for my new recliner. I bought it to keep dog hair and crumbs from getting into the space between the armrest and seat. It works as expected and is easy to use. It is comfortable to sit on. I have not tested the water resistance. The pockets on the sides are useful. I am happy with my purchase.
