works great now, took more than 5 minutes to assemble
I purchased this bed because I am tired of blocks under the feet of a bedframe to raise the head, or trying to use pillows to elevate my feet/knees. Took the suggested 5 minutes to get it all set up, and a day and a half to get to talk to someone in customer service when the remote did not raise or lower anything. Both guys that I talked to were very nice, but all it would have taken for that step to not be necessary would have been a photo in the instructions. Yes, there is a photo for plugging in the remote, but it does not show what it looks like! You get it almost all of the way in, and it looks like there are little grooves that a cover on the plug engages with and if you tug it a little it seems to hold. You actually have to rotate the cover away from the receptacle to get the cord plugged all the way in. See the first two photos and you will see what it needs. All they had to do was include a photo in the instructions and the three phone calls would have been unnecessary. I included a photo of the power plug, too, just in case your eyesight is not good enough to see the black retainer on the black plug when plugging that in.
SO: I am now very happy with the bedframe as well as the 10 Inch Memory Foam, Gel Infusion, Hypoallergenic Bamboo Charcoal, Breathable Cover Bed Mattress that I got to go on the bedframe.
