Just assembled today, so I cant speak to longevity....but it was super simple to assemble and seems sturdy. The natural color has a reddish tone, which I dont love, but I think itll blend well enough with the headboard I ordered. Also had pretty minimal plastic packaging for an item this size. Double boxed, which kept it from being damaged in shipping (there was a big hole in the outer box, so I was worried).
