No matter how much thread tape, or gas tape, or liquid thread tape i used, both sides kept having the smallest drip out of the screw on fitting. There is no option to sweat in a copper fitting. Thankfully I used Pex so I could screw and unscrew without issue. Im a strong guy and I tightened to much I felt like I was going to break it. Finally after one last over tighten, it stopped the drip. I .are sure for several days before coving up that I didnt have any more drips. Yes my pressure regulator is set correctly. This is a bad design flaw.
Better be strong to keep it from leaking
