I didnt think I was going to have to scrub every piece of metal with a magic eraser due to whatever the orange stuff was in the packaging. It was actually super annoying and a couple things flawed like the spray paint. I could see bits of black spray paint on one of the pieces and the frame is suppose to be white. I did not return it though its not noticeable once put together. The assembly was super easy and can definitely be done with one person. My almost 2yr old was very happy with her big girl bed
