The complaint you heard from other reviewers is real: the legs are seriously difficult to screw in. Neither my teenager or I were strong enough to screw them in. We couldnt get them on straight or screwed in flush to the frame. I expect they will not last long now. A hobbled couch is a problem. This is a shame because otherwise I LOVE this couch. Great to sit on. Sleeps well.
