Our male adult cat loves it. He kept scratching couches and bed frames so this has helped. We got the medium size and it was perfect, the bigger size may good good for a very large cat. The little ball is entertaining. The only complaint is that the is only stiff in the middle/bases, the little arms aren't stiff, they are soft and floppy but the cat seems to like biting and flopping them around anyways.
