Anyone saying this took their husbands 12 years to put it together, they were doing something else or you need a handier husband. I, the wife, put it together in just over 2 hours...by myself. And its really nice and super sturdy! Its for a 4 year old, but her and my husband (260 lbs) snuggle on it to read a book just fine. The storage is great. Few words of advice is to check the parts very thoroughly before starting assembly. I read reviews and knew Id have some broken pieces. Called the customer service number and got my 2 new pieces in 3 days. Also, I live in a 3rd floor apartment and this thing was HEAVY! Make sure someone is home to help the FedEx guy if theres stairs, otherwise I assure you you will have a lot more broken parts from his pure frustration. The handles are also pretty sharp. Something to consider to its for a very young person who wont be mindful of that. Overall, great bed for the price though! Super cute! Easy assembly. Very happy with it.
