The assembly was easy as long as you follow the instructions. Everything is pre/drilled including the back panels. When you get to the fireplace, you have to use the fireplace assembly booklet. I didnt find any steps out of place or confusing. I suggest having a 2nd person to help since its a big piece. Its sturdy and looks really good.
