The directions are tricky, but overall easy to assemble. Dont forget to install the dowels, it is not clear in the directions. Looks nice, but is very fragile. Wood can crack if too much force is used to tighten fasteners. The cross board under the drawer on mine is warped, so there is a sizable gap under the drawer. We have it in a place where it is not the center of attention.
