I have assembled every single piece of furniture in my house, and this one was by far the most confusing and disappointing. The directions are terrible and impossible to follow, the material is garbage, and the final product is flimsy. Screws were defective, and I had to use superglue. Screwed in a piece and the material just split, removing the finish too. This piece must be bolted to the wall because it is way to flimsy on its own- no way I would trust putting a lamp on it.
