We needed a reasonably priced tv console with doors and ample storage space. This rustic yet simple console met our needs. It looks great under our wall tv. Be sure you measure your receiver component before ordering. Ours barely fit in the middle open lower shelf area. The instructions are good, but not perfect. Two/person job. The only scratch/our/head moment came when installing the magnetic door stops on the console interior. The pictures and prior assembly do not show the pre/drilled holes for the magnetic piece. We looked at every numbered part as it would be installed. No pictured holes! Yes, we discovered them AFTER drilling our own. Also, arrows and left/right or front/back designators would relieve unnecessary confusion. The 4 star rating is for the assembly booklet. Big tip, do not use too much of the glue. Just a nice dot directly on the dowel ends works great. Some metal pieces require a bit of maneuvering, but my engineer husband figured those parts. Overall, this console is very sturdy and sleek looking. It made for a great Fathers Day project. We found room for everything cds/dvds/ games, and space for more. Delivery gave us a concern with a ragged and torn box. The box is long and heavy and considered freight. Make very sure your instructions for drop/off are clear! Hold your breath.ours were not.
