Well made for its price range (keep in mind it is made of press board laminated with a simulated wood grain). Delivered to your door in three boxes, each weighing 20-25lbs. It did take me and my son about 2 hours to put it together, nothing hard to do, just a lot of screws and bolts. It is just what my son needed for his small bedroom. Combined with a $300 mattress from Sams Club, it makes a very comfortable bed (you do not need a box springs with this bed platform).
