I was looking for a wood-like file cabinet that would match mission style furniture. I was hoping the quality would be reasonably good and it would not be too hard to assemble. I am a female professional, and I found assembly easy but time-consuming. The directions were sufficient to do the assembly. It took me four hours to get it built, which was definitely longer than I had hoped for. However, the only thing I struggled with was the drawer sliding mechanism, and how to pull it apart, which I did eventually figure out. There was no problem with the pieces being too heavy or cumbersome to lift or build myself. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the end product and will probably purchase a second one.
