We purchased this bunk bed for my 7 year old son who loves it. As others have commented it does not feel stable on the top bunk when an adult gets up there. I got up on the top (I weigh 215 lbs) and it is pretty shaky. The frame itself is pretty easy to assemble, I did it by myself in under 2 hours, but it would be much easier with someone helping. My biggest complaint is the ladders. The are obviously vertical with very small bars for steps that make it uncomfortable to climb up/down on. I will probably add another aftermarket ladder or stairs. Its an okayish good product.
