This was packaged very well in the box, so nothing was damaged in delivery. You should definitly build with 2 people, but it was easy to understand and follow instructions. Still just time consuming. It took my husband and I about 2 hrs to put the bed together. But the bed is well designed and sturdy. My girls love their new bed Better then I thought
