Nothing is perfect but I am really happy with this mattress. I was worried about getting a mattress in a box but I sleep much better since we got it. I wake up with a lot less pain than I use to. I am 81 and full of arthritis. It was a bit of a struggle to set it up but only because of my age. My 84 year old husband with a bad back did help me set it up but I could have done it by myself. We set it up in the afternoon and slept on it that night. It hadnt fully inflated but it was fine. Couple days later after it fully filled out it became a bit firmer. I think it is a great mattress for the money. We got the 8 so maybe that is why it was easy to set it up. The thicker ones might be a bit harder.
