This mattress was super convenient as it shipped quickly and came in a box that was easier to move around than a regular queen mattress but it is not 12 inches as advertised even after sitting for 4 days. As seen in the pictures it’s really just over 10 inches so if depth is an issue regarding your headboard be aware. It is very comfortable and appears to be several different layers of foam stacked and encased in a soft blue and white covering. The top layer is soft and has a lot of give and the layers below are comfortably firm. I think it will be lovely to sleep on.
