I was leery of buying this chair due to some of the reviews, but it was the right price and the right color and fabric. I am so glad I did. The fabric is wonderfully soft and has held up well for three months so far. The chair is very attractive in a mixed use space.
The chair is on the harder side on the bottom cushion. I like it but my husband hates it - so be sure you like a firm cushion if you buy this chair. Additionally the back leans back a little - I find this 'makes' me sit straighter and lean back away from my keyboard so I am almost forced into sitting correctly - it's been great for my carpal's tunnel and my neck as I don't have to keep remembering to sit back and straight - the chair makes me do it to be comfortable.
No issues so far with the height changing by itself. It adjusts well and stays where it is put.
